Recently I got to enjoy meeting Jana who runs the Colorado River Roasters in Boulder City. She was nice enough to give me a wonderful tour of her beautifully laid out roasting warehouse. What made me want to go and visit this roasting facility, I bought a bag of Sumatra Queen Ketiara over at The Dam Coffee House in Boulder City. This whole bean, tasted like it was roasted to perfection. It had some really great tasting notes, I had to find out more about this particular roasting house. I am so happy I went for a visit. Jana is a great educator, she really knows the science behind how to roast the coffee beans so you get the benefits of the flavor and the of the beans itself. Best coffee hands down... Unless you like your coffee burnt like the major chain I'll call Astrocash. Super friendly folks that work here too are always on hand to help you choose the single origin or blend you are looking for. This is NOT a coffee shop. If you want beans great! If you want a cup head to Coffee Cup in Boulder City, Bad Owl in Henderson, or our favorite Grouchy John's off of Windmill.

This is where you gotta get your beans! With consistently even roasts CRCR has got my business for a long time. I used to order subscription coffee monthly and not only is CRCR priced better, but they even knock those other roasters out of the water when it comes to excellent taste.

Best coffee I have ever tasted and so rich with flavor! I'm a forever customer and the staff is so nice to deal with! Jana really knows the business inside and out and offers such a personal touch.
